This section of the website is to show some of the bugs that you may find in your yard. Since they are small it sometimes takes a little looking to find them. Some of them are very interesting to
watch as they go about their normal business.
 One
of my favorites
is the Praying
Mantis. We
usually have
several of them
in and around
the flowers,
though it does
take a little
searching
sometimes to
pick them out in
among the
plants. If you
watch them for a
little while you
will see them
stalking an
insect for
dinner, or
perhaps get to
watch them as
they eat their
dinner. I always
like to see them
in among the
plants because I
figure they are
eating the bugs
that are trying
to eat my
plants. |
